Scholarships and Financial Assistance
There is a provision of scholarships for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes,Low Income groups, Other Social Castes, RBA, Frontier and Handicapped students. National Loan Scholarships and National Scholarships are awarded by
the Government of India. The college also recommends deserving eligible students for Post matric scholarship given by Dept. of Social Welfare. In addition to this,
college also grants financial assistance to poor and needy students out of Student Aid Fund.
These scholarships are financed by the Govt. of India through the State Govt. and are disbursed as per guidelines of Ministry of Social Justice &
Empowerment, Govt. of India. Disbursement of this assistance is made as per guidelines laid down by higher education department. Orphan students with no
earnings, children with broken families with no income support and physically challenged students are also considered for assistance from student aid fund.
The following documents are required to be submitted by the applicants:
Certificate of income and occupation of the parent/guardian from a competent authority.
The income certificate may be issued and certified, by a revenue officer not less than the rank of a tehsildar.
Attested copy of the state subject certificate.
Certificate of being differently abled /family composition, if applicable.
A student applying for scholarships is required to submit an online application on a prescribed form which can be had from official website
Rules and Regulations for Scholarships/Financial Aid
A scholarship holder is expected to maintain regular attendance and a satisfactory conduct in the college.
Scholarships shall be drawn only for the academic session including the month in which the University examinations are completed.
Sundays, sanctioned holidays and permissible leave are also included.
Detained or failed students are not eligible for scholarship/financial aid, except in very exceptional circumstances.
Parent/guardian of scholarship holder shall give an undertaking for refund of scholarship amount in one installment in case their ward is found to participate in strikes or any other subversive activities.
All payments to the scholarship holder will be made directly into the A/C through DBT.

Parent/Guardian of the student applying for any scholarship must give an undertaking that in case his/her ward participates in strikes or any other subversive
activity he/she will refund the amount of the scholarship received in one installment.
Students from distant places are advised to bring the above documents in advance at the time of admission so that their applications can be processed in time.
