Bhartiya Group of Colleges organized Two -Days Annual Sports Meet from 22nd to 23 rd April, 2024. Bhartiya Group of Colleges viz Bhaskar Degree College and Bhartiya College of Education Udhampur organised Two-Days Annual Sports Meet from 22nd to 23 rd March, 2024 in the college playground. The students were over flowed with zeal, fervor and excitement. The first day of sports meet commenced with the oath ceremony in presence of Mr. Shiv Kumar Sharma, member of managing committee, incharge principal of the college, Asst. Prof Bindu Salaria, Physical Director Pawan Kumar and Vikas Sharma, faculty members and the students. The league matches took place on Day 1 include: Kabbadi, Kho- Kho, Volleyball and Badminton in both girls and boys category. The outdoor and indoor games were organized simultaneously on the campus. The students displayed ample of energetic and bouncy sports spirit during the two days meet and mesmerized the audience with their dynamic performances in all the activities. The second day was also filled with different sports activities like Shot Put, 100 meter race, Table Tennis and Tug of War. The chief guest in the valedictory function was Managing Director of the college Mr. Ashok Khajuria who addressed the students with his encouraging words. He also emphasized on the importance of sports in student’s life and inspired the students to come forward and partake in sports events along with their studies. The medals and mementos were distributed among the winners who participated in different sports activities. The event concluded with the vote of thanks by the incharge principal and the whole event was hosted by Asst. Prof Hema Dutt.

on 29/08/2023: To commemorate National Sports Day, a friendly volleyball match was played between the students of 3rd and 5th semester. The match was organised under the supreme guidance of principal of the college Dr. S. K. Magotra. The final match was won by the team from 5th semester by 2-1 score. The match was organised by the Phy. Director of the college Mr. Pawan Sharma.

on 19 feb to 21 feb, 2023 Jatin Mehra Student of B.Com Sem-3 got laurels to the College by winning Silver Medal in Junior Category and Bronze Medal in Senior Category in JKUT Weight Lifting Competition held at Jammu.

The first day of Sports Meet commenced with the oath ceremony in presence of the Principal of the college, Dr. S.K Magotra, Physical Director Pawan Kumar, Faculty members and all the students of Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur. Sh. Ashok Khajuria, Managing Director of Bhartiya Group of Institutions was the chief guest of the Two-day Sports Meet. The students displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy sports events such as Kabbadi, Kho- Kho, Volleyball, Table Tennis, and Badminton on the first day. The students mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances. The winning teams of day first:Table Tennis winner is Harsh Singh B.A Sem- I and runner up, B.Com Gourav Goswami Sem-III Badminton boys’ team winner is Chataniya in Singles B.A Semester-I and Amit Paba and Chataniya in Doubles Girl Singles winner is Arohini Devi B.A Sem-III Kho Kho boys winner is Manoj and his team, Sem-1 Volleyball winner is Rahul Bandotra and his team, Sem-III Kabaddi winner is Mannat and his team, Sem-III. The second day was also filled with different sports activities like Shot Put, Kho-Kho and Tug of War, where both boys and girls participated from SEM-I, III and V. The winning teams of day second:- Kho Kho girls’ winner is Baby Devi and her team, Sem-III and V Shot Put girl winner is Rimpi Devi, Sem-I and boy winner is Ankush, Sem V. Tug of War winner is Jatin Mehra and his team, Semester-III. The Principal, faculty members and students were present to raise the morale of the participants. In order to make the events more vibrant and special a cultural dance performance was displayed by girls of SEM-I, and III of the college. The Principal of the college Dr. S.K Magotra and Chief Guest of the day Sh. Ashok Khajuria, Managing Director of Bhartiya Group of Institutions awarded the medals and the trophies to the winners of the various sports activities. He emphasized the importance of sports in an individual’s life. The Sports Day ended with the vote of thanks by Physical Director Pawan Kumar and the whole event was hosted by Prof. Hema Dutt.

Three Days Sports Meet Culminated At Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur 19 March, 2021: Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur organised three days sports meet in the College campus wherein volleyball, badminton, kho-kho and kabaddi matches were played in both Men and Women categories from 17-03-2021 to 19-03-2021. At the outset, Dr. S.K Magotra, principal of the College welcomed all the dignitaries on the occasion. Different colleges including Bhartiya College of education and Bhaskar Institute of paramedical sciences also participated in the meet. The valedictory function was concluded on 19-03-2021, in which Mr. Attar Chand(KAS) Programme Officer, ICDS, Udhampur was the Chief Guest and Mr. Yashpaul Sharma, Project Officer, ICDS, Udhampur was the Guest of Honour. Besides them, Chairperson of the college Mrs Madhu Khajuria, MD, Mr Ashok Khajuria, Dr. S.K. Magotra, principal of the college, Dr. Anita Bali, principal of Bhartiya College of Education, Prof. P.L.Suri, Principal Bhaskar Institute of Paramedical Sciences Udhampur were also present. Badminton matches were played from 17-03-2021 to 19-03-2021 and in which Sumritika Bharti of Bhaskar Degree College was the winner in Girls’ singles and Pallavi Rajput of Bhartiya College of education Udhampur was the runner up. Whereas in girl’s doubles, Shilpa Sharma and Tanvi Thappa of Bhaskar Degree College were the winners and Tanvi Pandoh and Nishali Magotra of Bhartiya College of Education were the first runners up and Ruby Sharma and Kiran Thakur was the second runner up team. In boys singles, Manmeet Singh was the winner and in doubles Vanshaj gupta and Manmeet Singh were the winners. On 18-03-2021, final Volleyball (Boys and Girls) and Kabaddi (Boys Category) matches were played, in which in volleyball Bhaskar Degree College team of boys was winner and Bhaskar Degree College girls were winners. Whereas in Kabaddi 3rd semester boys team of Bhaskar Degree College was the winner. The final match of the Kho-Kho, Shot Put(Boys and Girls) and Tug of War were played on 19-03-2021, in which team of girls Bhaskar Degree College was the winner team and the team of Bhartiya College of Education Udhampur was the runner up team in the Kho-Kho. And in the Shot Put, Bandana from Bhartiya College of education Udhampur was winner in girls category and Ankush from Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur was the winner in boys category. The final matches of Kho-Kho and Tug of War were witnessed by the Chief Guest, guest of Honour and other dignitaries. Besides them, faculty members and a large number of students were also present. Prof. Narinder Singh was the commentator of the final matches. The trophies and mementos were also distributed among the winners and participants were felicitated with participation certificates.

Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur in collaboration with ICDS Project Udhampur organised 3 days Sports Meet (17-03-2021 to 19-03-2021) under the theme “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” in its campus. On The 1st Day (17-03-2021) volleyball, badminton, kabaddi and Table Tennis matches in Boys category were played. Campus colleges viz, Bhartiya College of Education, Bhaskar Institute of Paramedical Sciences Udhampur and Bhaskar Degree College participated in the event on Ist Day of Annual Sports meet 2020-21

Sports Festival at Govt. Degree College Udhampur Udhampur Sports Cluster organized a sports fest at Govt. Degree College Udhampur w.e.f. 12/02/2020 to 15/02/2020. No. of teams from Distt Udhampur and Reasi participated in the events. Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur students also participated in fest in the field of Cricket, Tug of War, table Tennis, kabaddi, Badminton and Volleyball. The Chief Guest on the inaugural day was Sh. Naveen Chowdary Principal Secretary Dept. of Education and Technical Education and asked all the players to play up with the spirit of sports and victory and defeat do not matter much.

Sports feat 2020 organised by Govt. Degree College Udhampur concluded on 15/02/2020. Teams from more than ten College of District Udhampur & Reasi participated in the tournament. Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur also participated in the events like Badminton, Volleyball, Tug of War, Table-Tennis, Cricket, kabaddi etc. Our students brought laurels to the College by Winning Gold Medal in Tug of War and stood runner up in Volleyball and Table Tennis. Our cultural team presented a cultural Dogri dance on valedictory function which was widely praised by one and all. In nutshell college teams of Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur brought another feather on the Cap of the College

Trial matches of Volleyball, Kabaddi, long Jump and shot put held at Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur under the supervision of Sh. Pawan Kumar Physical Director. Both Girls and Boys participated and matches were witnessed by Principal Dr. S.K Magotra and all Staff Members.

College organized Two-Days Inter-Section tournament in the college premises w.e.f. 14/03/2019 to 15-03-2019, in which Table Tennis, Chess and Tug of War tournaments held.
